If they ever let you back in then I would suggest that in the future to read the TOS. They are there for a reason and you will never waste your time. They offer a way to click your own ads if you are interested to find out about products that are offered. You will not receive clics nor money, but you can use this to check out great offers without penalty.

How can someone possibly not read the TOS? How can someone, not understand that adsense is not a free ride and clicking on ads on their page is ethical?

that's the worst mitigating factor you can ever use. you clciked "i have read the adsense TOS and agree to it" when you sign up! how can you NOT read it and participate? especially when it involves money.

anyway if you EVER get re-instated, read it again THOROUGHLY and don't cheat the system again. Please.
i think you meant unethical. :)

It is nice when they are understanding. Kevin could you elaborate what you mean. Are you saying that you could click on an ad to check the deal out, but not make money from it?

    How do you do that?

Ya, clicking on your own ads... thats pretty obviously wrong.

However, sometimes you need to test if the ads are working in certain scripting environments on your website... with div layers, etc. So I think you shouldn't click obviously tons of times, but should try not to click your own ads unless necessary.

Best thing to do is tell your friend to visit the page and click them from his/her computer.

The only test you should need to do is see if they show up. I wouldn't expect it to be necessary to test if they're working. It's pretty easy to tell if a link is clickable without actually clicking it. I don't think Google would take that for an excuse either.

You can do that with Google's Adsense preview Tool. It's on their site. Download, install and then you can right click on the ads you want to preview, and choose "Google ADsense Preview TOol" from the drop down menu.

    :)
