I sense a big change ;P

Ive been looking over more and more SEO forums and resently I have seen 100's of "Im not getting crawled as much" and "Only my home page is indexed", something is up with Google and I think they are getting ready to do something

    For example:

Http://www.walls.dimensionet.com <-- Not indexed on Google, but MSN fully.
http://www.dimensionet.com <-- Hardly indexed on Google, but MSN fully.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

I never have a problem with indexing and I deal with tons of websites and domains. But google is always up to something! You can't be 'chilling' or on vacation when your stock is at 290$

msn has been indexing harder and faster than G ever since msn's big retooling.

I see no evidence of that. For the sites above its just a case of not having enough backlinks.

I've seen the "cache date" taking much longer to update in Google in the past couple of months, but I think they are crawling just as fast as before or faster, but they aren't updating their cache dates as often.

For example, I've seen pages crawled by Google that could only have been crawled through a page that has an older cache date.

Luckily I decided to search before I posted a "google has only got my index page cached" thread

I have 2 sites that went live 2 weeks ago. Google has crawled them everyday.

Both index pages were cached in 48 hours. Since then not one other page has appeared, Everyday I check my stats and everyday google has crawled the site and picked up any new content. I seriously thought that I had done some silly error but I then noticed that Msn has around 250 pages cached so far.

I am really at a loss to know what is happening and actually getting quite concerned.

    I agree with you.

I have all my sites indexed on the 2nd or the 3rd on MSN and Yahoo. Google is very choosy about what it likes.

I have been having good SERPs results on yahoo and msn lately.

Maybe now its google that ran out of space. I remember a few months ago everyone said the same about yahoo.

I wonder if G is having a space issue and considering costs as well. I been noticing lately either drop offs in pages indexed or sites just not getting past first page even though googlebot has been there.

Google is making me ill lately.

I'm just the opposite on one of my established sites - Googlebot has gobbled more than 5G of bandwidth this month already. I gave them a sitemap a month or two back and I think they just went through it.

G-bot has been playing Hungry Hungry Hippos w/ my sites since May but has really slowed down this month.

Heard google were only including backlinks that are relevant to your site now e.g. 3d site that links to your 3d site but exludes FFAs & sites that have no relation to your own.

Microsoft are indexing faster in retaliation to google's popularity, they're getting worried methinks.

can't see the logic in this.

Who is getting worried MS Or G.

MS are the new kids on the block so they have nothing to worry about and if google were worried surely they would be indexing faster than ever to get as much data and links as possible.
