I see some sites with 5+ ads per page, is that allowed?

    I have seen a number of sites with 5 or more google ads on one page then even put more ads around these at times. Surely this is not allowed......

    You can put a max of three content ads on a page. Nothing more than that will appear. They might be using frames.

    not allowed as you said but some manage to get appear 5 ads usually through iframes but as i tell you they will ban. I ask you to report google for this.

    3 adsense text/image, link ads, referral... total of 5

    they might be some of the refferal ads mixed with click ads that all

    Yes correct.

    It might be mix of different AD categories (content, link units & referral)

    Hmmmm, I am looking at one of the sites page source and yes, 5 ads, all showing, all content, no I-frames or nothing. very strange. I never go over 3 since that would be ad overkill but I was just confused as I thought 4+ was ban..

    Oh well, may they make hay whilethe sun shines.......

    You have have 3 content ads.

    But you can have up to 5 total ways of advertising, they could have been referral ads or a Google Search box.

    But if you say there all ads, that webmaster can expect the banhammer to come down on him soon.

    That is right, 3 adsense text/image and one link ads in a page are allowed.

    But what is referral, Could you help me?
