i see some nofollow backlinks when checking

i see some nofollow backlinks when checking my backlinks, what does this mean?
will it help seo still?

its still controversy topic about that sometime you will see that you are getting backlinks from nofollow links example one site I see that he was getting backlink from yahoo group which used nofollow. So as per my thinking that if you are getting links from high PR, popular and good traffic site then might be google will treat as a back link. Everything depends upon google PR formula.

 

it will still help in your SEO but it will not pass link juice to your site.

 

How do you check your links?

 

I beleive Matt Cutts said that nofollow links are sometimes considered anyway, despite they are nofollow.

As for SEO value, not ALL search engines treat nofollow, so I guess the do have some value.
