I see so much BS on here that I thought it is due for some SEO myths to be named.

First off, the picture of the guy on my website is not me and stop sending me messages about it. (Thought we better clear this up first).

Fell free to challenge anything I list below or add any I might have missed.

    - XML Sitemaps help you get a better SERP? sorry but they don't, this is a old way of search engines knowing how to crawl your website, that's it.

    - You need meta keywords? they don't do a dam thing

    - You must update your homepage everyday? No I have seen many websites stay the same and still up in the rankings.

    - Put lots of key words in my page and change the color to the background to hide? No, spiders can read CSS and google will bitch slap you for it.

    - Posting 1 article to multiple websites is spam and will hurt you? No, as long as your writing something meaningful most websites will not see it as spam, why would they unless your trying to sell something?

    - One article got indexed but none of the others did, does my back link still count? Yes it does, it is not index because Google want to give there customers unique answers to there customers. They will still count and Google have no plan to change this anytime soon.

    - High Page rank mean something? Page rank means nothing, it does not help you one bit in SERP. The sooner you forget PR the better.

    - 10,000 back likes for $5? They are useless and there is a reason why it is cheap, but it does not hurt your website like many people claim otherwise you could bump your competition out of the Google searches with only $5.

    - Quality content is King to rank well? Well it is to keep your customers, but actually has nothing to do with where you rank in searches. You need some content on your page that relates to your website ofcourse to target the keywords your after.

Well this is just some from the top of my head, I will post more.

List something about DoFollow - NoFollow... Is it plays important role for SERP?

As per my opinion, we need not worry about DoFollow - NoFollow while link building.
