I saw yesterday something wired

    On one of google local places listing, someone hacked a list! If you google search "little rock handyman" u will see that E listing is


    Hacked By GaMe OveR. TurkishTeam.iN TÜRK isen adamsın ;). GaMe OveR | Ne Mutlu ...

    And then i was asking myself how can someone hack google??? i know that if i would be able to hire a hacker :rolleyes::rolleyes: it will be not to attack anyone but to promote my business.
    maybe i don't understand so much about hacking but To hack a listing like that its pretty amazing, (i wonder if someone can actually take a phone number and change the listing number. probably not, maybe just a very experienced hacker, btw just for fun, someone know where u get a hacker? is it something u google??? i need a hacker, is it something you post on a form?? i wonder... )

    Anyway did anyone ever heard about this turkish hacker??

    They didnt hack google. They hacked the site "littlerockhandyman.net" which has the number one listing.

    also just from looking you can get to the top of the listings by getting some reviews fake or real. just need more then 13 to get top spot.

    Haha yes this is exactly what happened. The problem is it's been hacked for so long that Google has indexed the hacked page as what's there.

    Its not someone hacked google. That site littlerockhandyman using wordpress CMS. Since wordpress is a popular CMS there are many hackers out there. Wordpress CMS can be hacked if you use the default admin username and password like admin/admin. If you use any dictionary word as a password then it also can be hacked using dictionary mode attack. The bot try the words one by one until its unlocked. Google just spider the text from the front page and displays it in its search results. Hope you got it
