    You do know that dedicated IPs do absolutely nothing for SEO anymore right, and it's just a complete waste of money and IPv4 space?

    Yeah I agree with WSWD - SEO is a lot more complicated now due to the Penguin update - and trying to manipulate Search engines in this way will only last temporarily, maybe not even work at all.

    It is better to simply provide so much value, that people naturally like your websites etc.

    Wonder how much IPv4 space we could clear up if this myth wasn't so popular, so many IP's are being used in this way for SEO. I've had clients looking for dedicated servers with a /24 (256 IP's) per server for this reason alone.

    Yep! It's absolutely ridiculous. We get requests for anywhere to 128-256 IPs just about every day, some even on VPSs, if you would believe that! They want to buy a $5 VPS with all those IPs. Then they get angry at us because we explain the SEO myth and tell them that we won't offer them that many IP addresses.

    Oh well.

    Go to a few hosting review sites and read what people have said, there is a high chance that a host has written positive things about himself so you are looking for negative reviews because those will tell you the truth.

    Some customers would rather try and take the easy way, and believe paying money for IP's will help bring them traffic rather than having good content. Also with the abundance of these so called "SEO Host" further spread the ignorant misconception


    What exactly do you think "C-classes" are?
