    Any code snippet which you insert in your web pages can do alot to your webpage besides tracking,data collection,...etc

    Yes I agree to most of many guys here who say there is not any co-relation.

    This can be psychological as he has performed some action which yields some result that are thundering.

    If this is conceptual then the secret is hidden within developers of Google and statcounter.

    It is worth noting that there are known conflicts between Google Analytics and Statcounter. Both use JavaScript, but both present different statistics. It was pointed out that the "exit link" Adsense clicks aren't always being recorded in Google Adsense, which I have experienced myself. I use both of these together, but I use Statcounter day-to-day as it is in real-time and is much more simplified. There are definitely issues between these stat counters, obviously not as extreme as this thread points out, but without thorough testing we can only ever speculate.
