You have a blog now, your next step should be "Blogging". start adding useful content to your blog if you really want it to be a success over time, the domain is old so it would be beneficial to you off course if its not penalized and/or sand boxed. but i think you must have taken care of that aspect. once it has adequate content than your next step should be start promoting it to get some decent daily hits and regular visitors who will comment on your posts and you will get content through them.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers
    Fred

My mistake, i should have mentioned this earlier. penalized and sand-boxed both are different. a site can be seen in Google index even if its penalized but the same thing can't be held true about a site being sand-boxed. try to look your site in Google search by using the following query "site:yoursitenamehere.com". if it comes up with any result than your site in not sand-boxed.

    Regards
    Fred

    You are welcome.

As far as content creation is concerned, always keep your readers in mind while writing. try to put as much information in your post as you can and never ever copy/paste stuff from other blogs. if you are going to share anything which you find useful on any other site than don't forget to give credit to the original author.
