I received my first check from CB today. It is for $322.95 and it covers a first phase of testing my first product with a light article marketing. I have no prior experience with internet marketing at all. Of course, I have made some mistakes but I guess there is always a learning curve. Actually, it is a nice coincidence that I received the check today as I hope to launch my product either tomorrow or on Monday. Cheers!
My first pay check from CB was WAY smaller. I can't remember the number, but it was an embarrassement...
That's awesome, how about a little tutorial about what you did to actually make some money? I haven't had much luck, I'd be extremely happy with $300 + dollars
Thank you. You all are very nice. Guys, there is nothing really unique about my approach. It is a good product in a "desperate" niche and there are always going to be people willing to pay for it. As I have mentioned before I have minimal experience in article marketing but I guess I intuitively know how to do it. Of course, I have made some mistakes at the beginning and there is still room for improvement. However, these mistakes were still relatively insignificant compared to what some of these well "seasoned" marketers are doing on daily bases. My main challenge was experimenting with a sales copy and to some degree with appearance of the site. I went through four failed attempts of hiring a professional copy writer. Finally I decided to improve the original sales copy which I have written myself. It was much better than what those guys were trying to offer me. I have made improvements of the sales copy a few times. Last weekend I changed the template and the site looks much better now. There was nothing wrong with it before but it does look nicer now. The conversion went up a bit after that too. At this point if I publish three articles at the Ezine I get one sale ( at least it was my average for this week ). Before I changed the template I was getting a sale out of about 3.5 articles. I think it is quite good. I link my articles directly to the sales page as I didn't have time to make any landing pages. I read that landing pages convert better and I hope it is true as I am planning on making a few next week. Please keep also in mind that my product costs $10.00 more than the most products in this niche. I guess at this point the only decision, which I have to make, is the price of the product. Should I keep it at the current level or reduce it to the level of the most products in this niche? I would say at this point I lean toward reducing it by $10.00. Again, thank you all for kind words. We all can use a little encouragement from time to time.
Thank you. It took me four weeks of very light article marketing on irregular bases. I did much better after that.
congrat,... btw, click bank is more about selling product, right...?[or I'm wrong] so you just need a lot of people or email....
Even with somewhat erratic article marketing like mine, I still managed to make another sale two hours ago. If you tell me how to post a screen shot of it here I will do it. It is getting late in Chicago. Tomorrow I will try to answer all questions you have.
