I received an infraction that I believe is unfair.

In this thread, I said that I have stumbled the thread starter's website and I will PM the details to him and I received an infraction because I was running up my post count or something. I've noticed other users receiving infractions for replying to threads like this, where that's the whole point of it.

I believe that the infraction I received was unfair.

 

Well, those other members are getting infractions also, you just dont know it..Anyhow, you're getting another one for making this thread, I think if you complain/ make a post about infractions you get another one..

 

People are notified of Private messages, there is no need to say "message sent" threads. So while I'll not comment as to it being fair, it is justified within the given rules.

This is true, and if you you are in doubt that others are getting infractions you can likely report their posts (and then they will ) Just don't go crazy with it or you'll likely get another one for spamming the mods *smirk* <-- speculation

I think if this is happening, then it should likely be added to the FAQ/Rules link in the navbar. I know that as of thursday it was not listed there, and if it's not listed, there then there is no real way to know if it's against the rules.

is a post that has no value....kind like this thread.

The infraction was justified.
