I wouldn't say it can't be done, but like others have already told you, I think you've picked a pretty bad niche to get into. Don't worry, I made the same mistake before too. My first online business was a web hosting company which I still hold onto today. It is a good reminder for me on how to go about picking which niche's I get into. To be quite frank, unless you have several thousand dollars to really throw at this thing, I can't imagine it ever really taking off. You might have all the good features, a beautiful design, and good support, but other companies have something you don't and that is an existing database of single men and women. People are naturally going to go to where those people are, even if it costs them money. That is a hard thing to overcome in that field.
