I really would love some traffic for my site, but need to know how

If you're new to this, learn SEO before you try to learn pay per click, or you'll just waste your money. I made my site one month ago, and it's page rank 3, no 1 in Google for the title. I should have done a bit more keyword research to make sure that the title had more traffic, but I'm working my way up to the first page of a search on social promotion. I'm on page four for that search, at least locally. Subscribe to my list, and I'll teach you SEO, and traffic building methods.

hi,

first try to get a good domain name, then do the seo for it since it needs that as well. If you decided to go with PPC you should have some cash on hands since is not cheap. Also this thing gets you some decent traffic but not so much revenue. But with a good seo ON/OFF site you will start to drive traffic.

You can use a site that is giving away 100k free banner hits until Sept. 1st.. you can also buy cheap visitors from them, sign-ups and so on. Go on Google and search for LuxBux.

Well I just took others advice. I mainly put my site in my signatures on sites I'm on which is quite a few and my friend has a blog that gets good traffic and linked it to me. Tonight I'm going to share it on Digg and Delicious read somewhere that gets you some maybe not a ton but something. Also going to take more advice that some people just told me, hope that all goes well. Oh and some of my friends shared it on Facebook and other sites. Ohh and Facebook gave me free credits and I just started using them for my Fanpage which links to my site. Also, I'm going to set up my Google Adwords account when I learn how to use it correctly.

You can also add AdSense to your site. It will add a little revenue for you along the way as you build traffic. Sorry, I don't know much about SEO but thought this might help with generating some passive income once you've implemented some of the things others have posted here. Good luck!

 

I just got into the field of directories, and I wanted to ask if anyone has some good ideas on free marketing, or even paid marketing if its worth it?

 

I read off some guys blog and he said this:

Write a 300 word article about something related to your website.
Submit that article to EzineArticles.com (PageRank 6) or GoArticles.com (also a PageRank 6).
Make sure when you fill out the about the author box you link back to your site.
For maximum effectiveness, submit one article to EzineArticles.com, and another entirely different article to GoArticles.com.

It isn't sure, that you will get traffic from them...

There are so many methods to choose, or better yet you can make up your own
