Hai everyone. I really need your help. Actually, about 1 year ago i created a Paypal account, and selected my country UAE, but I live in Pakistan. I did it because Paypal wasn't available in Pakistan. Yesterday, after whole year ( without any kind of activity in that account) i payed a person to send money to me in my Paypal account. He charged me some amount for that ( very little), and yes, i recieved my $50 in my account. I got an e-mail from Paypal notif'ng me about it. but get accept it, as my cell phone didn't allowed to log in to my paypal account, yah, i was using net my cell. So, i couldn't accept the payment. Now today, when i logged in to my account, I saw that my account is set to limited, and Paypal is asking for my ID card photo copy, Credit Card, New Password, New Security Questions, and the first two, are impossible for me to do, as i don't have a credit card, and i don't live in UAE, so i can't send them my ID card, as my nationality is Pakistan. However, as i wasn't able to accept the payment, paypal says that the payment is reversed. That means, the person whome i asked to send that amount, has recieved it back, right? Please tell me, does reversed means that the amount is sent back to the sender? I have talked to him, and he says I will check later and tell you. Please help me, what shall I do. Any good advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yes, the amount will return back to the sender. Also, you can't do anything in this situation as you are in pakistan.
Well,in this situation you cant do anything since your country is not supported by Paypal and you entered that you are living in Dubai while making Paypal account and you are living in Pakistan. Why dont you create new Paypal account?
He is asking , why can't you create another account by giving some other fake id's like you have provided UAE as in earlier case
@Ragu_007 actually because i don't want to get limited again. If it did this time, it might do again. and still, i am not sure that i will get my $50 back or not, as the person i asked to send the money, actually asked another person to do so. Ah, my luck's sucking. Next time i will purchase a verified account.
in response to ur other thread (which i cant find now) 1) Country is not cross checked 2) verified paypal acc option is better. More the life of that account, more better!
You can ask that person to resend it to you... paypal is strict also with IP's... And what happened to you, you should not worry because your money($50) is safe,. Only if that person(who send the money to you) is trusted and cooperating with you... Just pm me if you need more help..
Dont use paypal is your country is not supported by paypal, your will lose all your money after get limited due to fake id. And verified account can be limited too if they suspend any abnormal transaction or security check. Better go for other payment processor
You need to collect your money from the person who sent it, then open another Paypal account. There are people who assist with this, they will open the account for you, verify it and give you a CC to withdraw from it.
PayPal would track even the IP address (GEO location) will show from where you access - so avoid this method and find some better solution. If PayPal is not allowed asper rule in country then avoid it and is always safe. Particularly when you are receiving money.
Firstly, thank you everyone for your advice(s). Actually i couldn't get my money back, cuz. The person whome i asked to send the amount asked another person to do so. Which means he invlolved third party in the transaction without letting me know. And when my account got limited and the money was sent back to that third person, he said that, because of me his account also got limited. So, he refused to return the amount (50$) cuz. He can't, atleast thats what he said. Now i blamed the person whome i actually paid (its basically an exchangement company), that he involved third party in the transaction without letting me know. That person was kind enough to give me hosting of 6 domains for 6 months, on his leased server from hostgator, for free. And actually i wanted my money for that, plus 2 domain names (sadly i didnt got domain names). So i kinda got half of my amount back. I shared this experience just to warn others that don't do the same, use alertpay or moneybookers. Moral: Never play with something thats not legally available to u, if it has any risk.
Cool, Your partly is kind enough with you to provide something alternative.. good. Never play with something that's not legal, that's always risk.
