I really hate PPC.

As far as I know it, it seems to me that PPC is probably the most difficult marketing exercise on the net.

Why is it so difficult to convert more clicks into sales when the CTR is so high?(a whopping 9.87%,90 clicks 1 sale)

The keywords i have been targeting is always the brand name.

Anyone has any insights and suggestions?

    Thanks.

I am already split testing my ad copies and use the one with the highest CTR.

My real problem is that it cannot convert really well even though the CTR is real high.

I suspected it was click fraud and msned google support which they told me I should use other tools before suspecting it was fraud(even though i was using google analytics).

What do you guys think is the most important factor to coversion?

Besides, i crafted my landing page after reading the following ebooks

    1)Affilate Project X
    2)Who loves money
    3)RichJerk
    4)google adwords ultimate guide.

    What my problem?

    Thanks

I think the most important factor is to use keywords that the customer uses at the end of the buying process and not the keywords they would use in the research process.

So if you had your credit card in hand and went online to purchase what you are selling what terms would you type in?

    Cheers,

I agree if you have a good landing page, then you should up your % rate considerably.

Maybe give an example of the keywords or landing pages you are using.

Could be a number of reasons for bad conversions in my opinion - landing pages not pre-selling, keywords attracting browsers rather than Ready to Buy users, Programme landing page looks dodgy, Programme landing page not selling properly, Programme too widely known.
