Whats up guys? This is my first post on here so please have patience with me. I have made the decision to take the plunge into affiliate marketing and I have spent countless hours reading forums and blogs as well. While I think I have the drive to become great at IM, I found out that you have to create landing pages as well. I have no knowledge of any coding or programming. NONE! I have no problem putting in the work learning whats necessary but it just seems overwhelming at this point to have to learn HTML, CSS, and PHP on top of continuing to learn all of the aspects of PPC. My question is for you guys who are sucessful at IM or PPC to be more specific. How did you start and what does it really take to build good sites and become a sucessful marketer? I will truly appreciate any helpful advice or comments.

if you have no knowledge on coding and what so ever, this is the time for you to learn and explore this knowledge
:0 If you have some bucks, you can hire expert people to do it..
    that's it..
this is what usually people did..

You don't need to know difficult programming languages as most affiliate marketers don't. I.e. you can use squidoo.com or hubpages.com as a landing page or use simple WYSIWYG softwares to create good looking websites very easily. There are many ways.

Use a free Wordpress or Blogger blog. Really easy to set up and edit to your own desire. You can learn with such a site at first.

Find templates and start using them.

With time, you'll start seeing and editing the HTML and CSS code, and who known, in the distant future you may even do ASP or PHP :D
