    Always start by getting an estimate of how many people actually search for the keyword you are going to target.

    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

    "wordpress installation service" is a very non-competitive keyword term - worktracker shows it gets an average of zero searches per day, so the resulting traffic from a #1 ranking would be minimal at best.

    He's aware it's not a competitive keyword term. He's just happy to be doing so well so quickly.

    More power to him.

    Don't pay attention to what people say here! Sometimes their comments might sound a bit harsh...but...actually everyone just wants to encourage you to go even further.

    Yes its true...Your keyword isn't very competitive...but...thats not a problem...since you rank well for 1 of your keyword....you can slowly start targeting more keywords on your niche ...for instance -

    "Install Wordpress"
    "how to install wordpress"
    "wordpress help"
    "wordpress support" etc. I am sure you can do the keyword analysis for your niche.

    As you say that's the key thing here. If you have found achievable phrases that lets you earn $300 a day, that's a very good achievement, and a great place to start tackling more competitive phrases.

    Well done

    Thats a pretty funny joke. I don't see your website listed in your signature ranking #1 for anything! And it never will using your meta description and keywords (or lack thereof). Here's what you're using on your site:

    ****
    <meta name="description" content=" " /> <!-- enter a description for your website inside the " " -->
    <meta name="keywords" content=" " /> <!-- enter a a string of keywords that relate to your website inside the " " -->

    ****
    You better get to work on your existing site before you think about building any more. :D

    If you need help, here's a tutorial on what META tags are all about: http://www.seologic.com/faq/meta-keywords.php

    A very important point. For a noncompetitive keyword, you can pretty much corner the market for that keyword by having it as your URL. I've ranked #1 in the Big Three search engines from the get-go for my name, which is in my URL. Problem is, no one searches for my name :eek:, according to Overture. Thankfully, I have other competitive keywords that are ranked and drawing good traffic.

    But congrats in any case. Your efforts are paying off in the wallet!

    hmm...

    Wordtracker - No data for phrase: wordpress installation service
    Overture - No data for phrase: wordpress installation service

    Google Trends:
    Your terms - wordpress installation service - do not have enough search volume to show graphs.

    No data in adwords about phrase wordpress installation service

    Try to reach first page just for wordpress installation

    No data does not mean that there are 0 searches per month. Proof of that is in my Awstats and in my Paypal account. :) No data means that amongst the millions and millions of searches every single day, there are not enough of that search term to track. And "not enough" can mean only 30 searches per day, which is about the amount of traffic that I receive from those keywords.

    Now, let's add it up... If I get $20 per customer x 30 customers/day, I'm looking at a nice stack of cash. (I actually get about 3-4 sales per day per site)

    As I stated, I'm not trying to be the Wal-Mart of script installations. I'm just looking at paying my bills, which these keywords do. This is an example of thinking outside of the box- not letting stats control 100% of your thinking and actions, but using a little bit of common sense to create something that works for you.
