I ran bidvertiser for 22,000 impressions...

...and so far they gave me less than 5 clicks. Two of which were 0.03 cents and one was a little over $1. I don't know what to make of it, thats one helluva payout for that one click but the click through rate kinda sucks compared to adsense.

I think I will continue running it for 100,000 impressions what do you think? Btw I am running it on proxied pages, I run adsense on the index page but because of adsense rules I don't put it on the framed page.

So does this seem kinda weak? Any clue why I do not get more clicks?

I've had the same luck with bidvertiser on my proxy sites. I've tried adbrite too, and it's not that much better. If you can find something that works, please let me know.

The site is http://www.cooltunnel.com and as I mentioned before the problem is not the index page. The people who land on the index page do click google ads once in a blue moon but the problem is the proxied page, as soon as a person types in a url to visit...they leave the index page and enter the framed proxy page which is a "forbidden zone" as far as google is concerned. Its that area of my proxy site where I cannot get decent yields. :(

Ok I have some updated stats for the last 3 or 4 weeks. According to bidvertiser here are my stats for this month: Impressions about 85,000(not sure on uniques, probly a lot less than 85k). Clicks = about 15 and Revenue = about $2. So I might just go beyond $3 on 100,000 impressions.

Now going by statcounter. I look at the ratio of uniques to "impressions" for the last week on that proxied page and I have

    Framed page- Bidvertiser
    Pageloads 100,000
    Uniques 14,000
So these 15 clicks are probably for about 12,000 uniques. Revenue < $3.

    Index page- Adsense
Now by contrast on my index page for the same time period
    Page impressions = 15,000
    Uniques = 7,000
Clicks around 350 and Revenue around $35.

So bidvertiser makes me less than 10% of what adsense makes me!

P.S. these rounded figures don't violate anyone's TOS do they?

For bidvertiser impressions, they're not unique, they count PER ad (so if you have 3 ads on your site, 1 unique impression would give u 3 hits in bidvertiser)

I just have one banner on the whole page, yes I know they are no unique. But the point is they pay less than 1/10th of what adsense pays. The proof is right here!

What else? Clicksor? This is a framed page so no adsense or YPN can go there. :(

For just 315 impressions and 3 clicks I got $1.19. I think you have huge amount of impressions then why don't you earn ?

Either bidvertiser is not reporting the clicks correctly or there are no interesting ads running. Maybe they use the wrong category or something. I have a situation on two of my sites with adsense. One site gets 500 impressions and no clicks, the other site also gets about 500 impressions and about 15 clicks. The ads look different on both, I figured it was because of the meta name = "description" and "meta name = "keywords". The site that was getting clicks had them and the clickless one did not!

Now both sites were running adsense, I just changed the bare index page to be just like the successfull one lets see what happens....

Now there must be something going on with bidvertiser...they must not be matching my site up with interested parties. Or if I go by what a lot of other people have said they are just ripping me off?
