I have got many PR4s and 5s in this update for 2-3 month old websites.

Moto did you see the PR in toolbar or checked on DCs ? My toolbar is not showing any updated PRs.

congrats moto for ur fast growth!
Since how much time have you been an adsense publisher?

offtopic: is there any good beginners tutorial for joomla? I am a developer but not in php and am relatively new in CMS's. Any tutorials or links would be a good start ;)

Hello Moto , I need some help from you if possible ... i use Joomlashack template , i am having a small problem with it .. i am unable to make the joomlaspan module show for the top position. In other templates , the joomlaspan module works fine , it is only in Joomlashack .

you can see it here ( just change the template from the template chooser on the right , you will see the joomlashack template with the top adsense module not showing) ..

    ..

Did you edit the template and then add your adsense code? because with this template i am having problems , in others it work. :(

i badly want to make the adsense ads show for the top position.

    thx

Pairbrother - I've started using Google on July 1st 2003. Made $273.16 that month and then $1,107.00 in August 2003. And it just kept going up from there.

FieStorM - What I did to get a Google ad in that position was to replace the "Poplular" spot with a Google ad spot. You can move Popular to the left or right side. I removed it completely.

Here are the February results for Laptop Gamers.

The site did 60,000 page views and made $619.68 from its 3 main income sources. This compares to $272.50 for Jan.

If you wish to see how this was all broken down, you may read my latest blog entry and find out.

You are doing great with your website Moto, I think $619.68 from one website is awesome, and that too from a website which was launched just 2 months ago.

    Way to go.

sumitbahl - Thanks! It's a good thing I don't have to depend on this site for my living. Ha ha. But I should be able to have it hit $800 this month. I have a few articles ideas that can be slashdot/digg.

congrats moto, you seem to be progressing nicely. Really pays to have targeted traffic, about 2 weeks ago i had 120,000+ page views in one day and made $8 approx. The traffic was completely un-targeted thus the disappointing income result. So yes having success with adsense is all about getting traffic but it must be targeted traffic....yup.

TheBrokeOne - I know what you mean about targeted traffic. However, I feel nearly all traffic is targeted. You just have to find the right product/ad to target those people with.

I had a hell of time trying to do that on my recent Digg. The article was about a 60" subwoofer, but I couldn't think of what kind ads would work well on that.

Moto, I really thank you for sharing your experience here. If not for you, I would not have a direction to move in with my new site, and would probably have made the wrong mistake of not looking at networked linking to a new site.

It is only when traffic comes that your content gets to strut its stuff, and never before!

You probably should consider write an e-book about this; you have shown what most other e-book writers have not done so in their books: a real case study right from the bottom up.

It goes to my blog right now but if I ever decide to write an e-book it'l be perfect for it. LOL

I don't tell what I made on the net because of two reasons

1 - It may not be big enough to impress you
2 - It may be so big it scares you

If I write an eBook, you can have one for free. :)
