I put up a new site this week - AdSense results

Laptop Gamers was started last Saturday and officially launched on Sunday. It made zero money from Saturday to Monday because I didn’t place any advertising on the site. On Tuesday, I loaded the site with some Google AdSense ads and by the end of the day it had made $1.04! Here is the Google income from the site since the Google ads were placed.

    Jan 17: $1.04 - 294 page views
    Jan 18: $2.97 - 818 page views
    Jan 19: $9.93 - 1,685 page views
    Jan 20: $9.51 - 1,742 page views

As I write this post, the site is at about $10 with Google from 1,700 page views and there’s still 3 hours left in the day. I expect the site to finish with $12.00 with Google AdSense. In addition to AdSense, the site also makes income by serving shopping links from my TTZ Media Network. Those links actually make more than Google.

There aren’t many things where you can spend a few hours creating that can make you a profit right out of the gate. I will post more about how Laptop Gamers is doing as the weeks and months go by.

Hopefully, this will provide inspiration to the others here. You can make money on the net. Don't give up.

Way to go, Moto! Think how much you could make once you start advertising it more. Speaking of which, how did you advertise it to get over 1k/pvs in one week? That's quite a feat!

In any case, continue success! And thanks for pointing out TTZ Media Network. I've been looking for something just like it...

Hey - That's awesome. I doubt I will have the same success, as my page is more of a niche than that, but here's hoping!

What method do you use to drive those numbers to such a new site or is that secret?

Traffic to Laptop Gamers was all created by having network sites link to it in their news. No paid advertising of any kind was used.

    The CMS is Joomla.

If there is such a thread, it won't be from me. I've been a Google publisher since AdSense started.

I'm quite shock at how many people are asking how the site is getting so much traffic. To me, this is almost no traffic.

But as an update, the site finished off Saturday with 2,247 page views and $11.88 in Adsense income.

Today (Sunday) the site is currently at 1,689 page views. It's only 10AM right now so the day is just getting started. I'll post the final results when the day is over.

ohh get over it, he won't get banned!!!!!! There not stupid over in adsense world. Alittle revealing is fine especially from someone like him, his site is valuable from googles point of view, its not a spam/BH site. Google would be more worried if he went with YPN or an affiliate ppc.

Congrats Moto and keep updating us!

Yes having a network that will post news about your site really helps in getting the site up and running.

Traffic to Laptop Gamers is growing a pretty good clip - looking at the stats, it should do over 5,000 page views today. Zero to 5,000 in one week. That's actually better than I projected.
