but I only get to see 8% of that crap (don't forget PPC fees). WTF. Anyone else ever feel like they are busting their hump to make some other company richer? Hell, I have a full time job working for the "man", I don't want to make some other "man" richer on the side. This is nothing compared to what some of you other people are doing, but I've made this one company over 5K so far this month and this month isn't over yet. Granted, If I could ever figure out or get enough time to bum market, it wouldn't be so bad. So, I think my next goal is to actually make my own product and sell it online so that the next 5k will be all mine. Anyone else feel way?
I'm the exact opposite. I love affiliate marketing. I agree with you that there are massive profits to be made by purchasing wholesale or manufacturing your own product, then selling retail - but it's too much of gamble for me. And more importantly, too much hard work. My 'business' can be managed from a laptop - I can create a site in a few hours, then my work is done - no warehouse, no unsold stock, no drop shipping hassles. And my expenses are next to nothing.
And how much profit is that for them? If you give a company $5000 in sales, and 16% is profit margin, they're handing half of the profit to you...
