I personally did not buy an iPod. I was going to, went to the Apple store, but when I saw that I had to pay like $250 for just an 8GB iPod that can do everything a $230 30GB Zune could, I went with a Zune. Cheaper, much nicer looking, and where Microsoft wants to go with it, will be much more versitile than the iPod will ever be.....
Having used many MP3 players, the iPod was able to integrate a nice and easy UI and also use great advertising methods to sell the iPod. In terms of storage, sound quality and features it was never the best. I am happy with my Samsung P2 for now.
Go with the Zune Has less (like movies and games) as of now, but it has greater potential for upgrading in the future. Especially since it has a built in wi-fi card, and the i-pod (other than touch/phone) doesn't.
I-pods rocks because it's from a company that has a track record of putting out cool and innovative products.
Yup, I got an ipod touch . Used to have an mp3 player, this beats it by far...it's really fun to slide everything around with the touchscreen
