OK I need to pick your brains on a project I have (it seems my own brain is not enough). I will give $25 to the member who suggest the best idea/solution to my problem. I will announce the winner in 48hrs - or when I have a min of 10 ideas/suggestions in my PM box (If this takes more than 48 hours to have 10 suggestions). -------------- here's the problem - Let's say my site is www.widgets.com (It's about widgets) - Every day, 2 to 5 bloggers post an article about widgets on their blog, and place an hyperlink to www.widgets.com in the body of the article. This should make me happy. But it's not enough. Here's why: - These blogs are somewhat obscure or new and don't have much pagerank or links pointing to them. So the benefit to www.widgets.com is quite limited I thought about getting other sites to link to these blog posts to in order to increase their "value" but this solution is stupid as I would be better to ask these sites to link to www.widgets.com directly. So. What would you do in order to make sure that the blog posts that feature www.widgets.com get indexed faster or more efficiently? Remember, I don't own these blogs so I can't change anything about them. Two conditions: 1) Whatever your solution is, it has to be implemented gradually. (Submitting each blog post to a thousand directories etc is not an option, as it would add too many links at once and would be too costly anyway - so please don't just hit me with "site submission packages" etc. this will not do the trick). 2) I will choose the solution which seems the most cost-effective (of course). I suggest spending some time with owner's of blog networks - that have already developed PR. I'm sure that they'd be able to work out a good deal with you. Another option is that you could contact the owner's of these blog's that are already link to you, and suggest some promotion tips.
Just continu promoting widgets.com PR doesn't matter if you have a lot of PR0 backlinks the most important is to get those blogposts indexed and as you know stuff change and PR0 can be PR3 after a pagerank update. Focus on backlinks from blogposts, the max possible. Cheers.
Tell these blog owners to use a paid to post program to earn money by blogging. This way their PR will increase and you will benefit. The blog owners will be excited to use Paid to post programs because they will be earning money!!
