i pay nothing because it only takes me 20 mins (or 30 if i walk throught the park) to work. if i really need to get somewhere, i take the taxi. guess i spend ~$30 - $50 on transport each month. oh, and i also dont have to pay any car rates, insurance, repairs or registration fees since i sold my car 2 years ago. i should really finish my flight license with all the money i saved petrol is still much to cheap. most times you only see one person in each car at the red lights, or ppl driving to the supermarket with a suv just to buy 2 bottles of milk, or why is it still cheaper to bring containers with goods all arround the globe instead of manufacturing the stuff in your own country...?
LOL - Glad I could be of assistance! No, that's for 87. Luckily, I use 87 for all my vehicles. $3.80-$3.90/gallon? Ugh. That's for northwest New Jersey. Despite high prices for everything else, Jersey has some of the lowest rates on gas in the country.
In Croatia we pay $1.80 for litre but I personally drive my Renault Clio on LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) and I pay $0,65 per litre...
I also drive a Hyundai (when I can) and that's about what I pay to fill it up. I assume LPG is what we call propane, which is used for heating/gas stoves (like I have) in some parts of the country, but I know of no one that uses propane for their vehicle. I think it might be used for some 'fleet' vehicles.
damn! I bet that's the cheapest in the entire state too! we're @ $2.959 avg in town (TX), $3.06 is avg nationwide one year ago: $2.17 & $2.29
Lots of people in Europe use it. I think that it is propane, similar to the one you use for heating... Italy and Poland are leaders in percentage of cars on LPG. It can be used on any car but the installation is much cheaper on cars on gasoline rather than diesel. In Germany lots of public transportation is driven on LPG which is much cheaper and cleaner (no need for ECO tests at all).
wow. thats crazy and now seeing how dependent the states are on gas i dont see prices going down soon
Latest fill up cost me $53 @ $1.16 per litre (91 octane) and I only needed to fill up 3/4 of my tank.
$3.19 in Ohio, but if I drive around 20 mins away they have $2.86 (they probabaly rose) and I have Giant Eagle with their fuel perks so once in a while I get a free tank of Gas!!!
