I have been collecting christian dot.coms for a few years. How would you go about selling them?

this is very specific theme.. i dont think you can sell those domains very good.

if you offer them to christian groups, they wont be interested i think.

better would be to publish some content, i would recommend some static content and watch stats of traffic.
then more probably some people will contact you with interest of buying. good luck

Religious domains are a tough sell for a couple of reasons:

    1. Most people who want them are Churches and they simply register domains related to their Church name. The exception being the many non-denominational churches, some of whom don't have a clue about how to set up a website in general and don't have the money to buy an expensive domain.

    2. Since one of the primary motivations for buying an expensive domain name is for the monetary value inherent in the domain, and since many Churches and Christian websites don't care about capitalizing on "exact match" faith domains and all of that, they don't really look to buy a domain beyond the $10 registration fee.

It's just a tough sell period, but if you do have a really good exact match faith domain, you can get some good money for it, regardless of what I mentioned above. Plenty of non-religious people who are trying to make money online try to do it with religious websites.

You can park the domains at Sedo.com and just wait and see how it goes, but you could be waiting a long time. You could also try to sell a good faith-based domain on Flippa, but it's not the best place to sell domains.

If you are religious yourself, then your best strategy is to develop those domains with a website, or set up a mini-site or squeeze page and give something religious away like an ebook, then market to that email list of subscribers plus generate traffic for the domain at the same time. With traffic any religious domain you have will be much more appealing wherever you try to sell it.
