Every blog listed on the PayPerPost directory has been set to pagerank zero as of today. Looks like Google is really gunning for that company. the PPP forums say that PPP is meeting about rolling out SocialSpark/Argus out earlier.

My hobby blog with no paid links is down to zero from 3. I think paid links is not the only factor.

Is this lack of checking or is Google still updating the PR?? my sites show no difference since the last update and I find hard to believe that PR is still changing 4 weeks down the line.

    Hey! Dudes,
Get page 1 returns on Google Search with in 48 hours which, in turn, will increase the exposure of your site and lead directly to more qualified traffic. Get more traffic to your sites of selection almost instantaneously. Get a page rank 9 site to have a one way link IN to your site. This is the right technique that works for your site, for your one-way-back links to your site in an hour! Such as Bum Marketing, your blogs, and even your Squidoo Lense. This works great in Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines, too. It is free, simple and highly effectual.

If you are prepared! Then just swing with these easy techniques. You will notice Netscape is PR 9. That is a powerful stuff and Google itself, is only PR 7. If you’re familiar with page rankings and back-links, you know what having a link from a PR 9 sites can do for your site. Just try one-way-back links to your site and in an hour I assure that your site will be in a good PR.

Same happens here...See I recently added a bunch of new content to one of my client's website, but I forgot to update its sitemap. Its page virtually dissappeared from Google, when it used to be in the top 5 for certain key words. So after putting the sitemap back on (and some minor optimization), it's now listed at No. 3 for my main targeted keyword and in the top 20 for 10 odd other keywords that it wasn't even in the top 20 for.
Then I checked site's Page Rank, and it dropped from 5 to 4.......!!!!!!!!
