I never really payed any attention to Google's Directory but..

I always known it to be

http://directory.google.com/

not

http://www.google.com/Top/

has google changed this recently, or is it just that I truly don't pay attention to their directory?

 

New one on me but who am I to know, too busy with my own Directory

But they both display copyright 2005 for G, so I guess they have been around a while

I just came across it because while checking my serps, i noticed that i am competing with google for both their sub domain AND sub folder.

And to think, 'we get penalized for duplicate content'.. talk about the pot calling the kettle black eh?

 

It has been like that for as long as I remember!

 

Are they 2 cheeks of the same arse both the same size and shape

Maybe we need that famous DirectoryDump jpg (the beaver is unique content) of a really tasty arse to compare the difference being of course that G has no beaver

Yea, I clicked submit site and it took me to DMOZ

 

The actual directory listings haven't been updated since Feb. 2006. The search db is separate.

 

I've not using it for a long time. Maybe I take a visit today to see it.
