Hi DP users, I have been coding a lot for my new hosting template. I have basically used XHTML, PHP, and a bit of Javascript(Jquery). Please kindly suggest me some ideas, modification and tiny details that need attention The site is www.aquickhost.com Thanks , Your review counts a lot
I believe that there is too much design on your site. Is it a hosting or a site for a fancy design contest? The hosting site should have a simple list of the catching attention cheapest deals in each of the hosting plans categories at the start page, with the links to the complete lists of the plans. $1 Shared / $5 VPS / $50 Dedicated
thanks for your time to review the design. I believe most people prefer good design, that's why i tried to make it look a bit impressive. Anyways, ill consider your point. I need to reduce the fancy things. Maybe lessen the images.
it should be a nice design but it just look nasty in firefox. have you seen it using firefox? i'm not sure if its just my computer. but the hosting is very affordable.
thanks for your review etc, & gary pan which version of firefox are you using? im using firefox 3.6.3 and it looks fine. could you kindly explain which part loooks nasty?
it's average, could use some spicing up though! It is very simple which does make it easier to navigate though
thanks sharkhost for you review. Im glad you liked it. thanks jay for your review. Ill consider that, spices are tasty .
When I viewed your site, the testimonials box is running too far to the left and sitting on top of the type. I am viewing in Google Chrome. If you need a screen shot of it, let me know. I hope this was helpful. Jayme
i checked on the google chrome myself and found the difference, thank you for your kind review askJayme. Seems Google Chrome has a different way to interpret the fixed absolute tag.
1. Good design overall. 2. Hate your logo. 3. Check your site in Chrome, there are css problems. Good job overall. PS - could you pls review my site too : http://www.lessonist.com.
Your site looks good just you need to make some changes in the LiveZilla button it is getting mixed with other buttons and it is looking odd.
I like the design, if you want some good honest reviews on here it may be worth giving away a few free packages for people to try and rate.
Serious workers which browser are you using? thanks to you for your review. kinok & directrorysubmission1 : thanks also for your time to review it . I might as well have to change the logo and give some packages for review.
As other have pointed out there are some serious css issues. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 and the right sidebar is obscuring the content (too far left). Additionally there are too many icons & images - whilst they look good individually the way they are currently presented makes it very difficult to focus on any specific area of the homepage. The dual layer of icons near the footer is overkill and the top layer of icons conflicts with your logo. The personal email icon fades into the background color too much. Spelling and grammar issues are present in your opening paragraph. The "client area" menu appears empty/blank to me. I can't see any specific offers on your homepage?
