I need your opinion with hyphen domain names

Do hyphens pause a problem in a domain nowadays?

Would you go for something like "you-tube.com" or "digital-school.com" (for the sake of an example)
What if the domain is easily understood and easy to write?

Please give me your opinion and comments about this..
    Thanks!

Depends on the domain. For me one hyphen is OK, but I don't like Hey-look-at-my-site.com That gets a little difficult to type. I have a couple of domains with hyphens. They do OK.

One is ok, it's just not easily memorable.

Depend on the name you are going to use. ;) If that is phrase - why not?

I think hyphens are the best when the actual words are spelled using a hyphen. Like "e-mail" v. "email". E-mail has 5.3 billion google results, email has only 3 billion. So e-mail.com could be as good as email.com. But for other words that don't use a hyphen it will significantly decrease the value of the domain.

I think hyphens are a problem: people are going to wonder whether to type 'you_tube.com' or 'you-tube.com'.
