Okay... I need to find a forum specifically for this, but I wanted to put this here to get you guys suggestions, help, etc. The people on this forum seem VERY internet savvy, so I thought maybe you could help out. I've been in radio for 18 years. My career has taken me to San Fran, Detroit, Dallas, Tampa, St. Louis, Orlando, etc. I've been everywhere. During that time I worked for FM TALK and ROCK stations. I have seen so much stuff, you wouldn't believe half the stuff I could tell you I've seen and/or experienced. I am serious, I have done and seen the most insane stuff imaginable. (Joe Rogan knows NOTHING.) I'd started a book about 8 years ago about my career and travels.. I let my wife read the 3 chapters that I'd completed, and she was amazed, and she's a hard sell. I seem to have SOMEwhat of a knack for writing when I really concentrate, so I was thinking about taking the next months and finishing that book. (Maybe not just MONTHS, perhaps YEARS.) I know NOTHING about publishing a book. Notta. Just wondering A) Anyone know how to do it? B) Where to start? C) Who to contact? D) Would it be worth the time? (Etc. etc. etc. etc.) Any help you could sling this way would be awesome. Thanks.
My brother did a poem book a couple of years ago, he had a hard time publishing it as well, I will try to get hold of him and ask him how he did and get back to you.
