I need YOUR help !

I just bought the domain Boring Toys . . . but i dont really know what to do with it. I dont want to realy just put a generic website on there talking about boring toys ( mainly cause i cant think of to much to type about . . . ) so i am looking for your guys help ! THANKS !

wtf lol why did you register that domain , if your trying to sell toys thats not a good way to promote them!

 

You could use this domain and build a site/blog about gadgets. Like you could have reviews, comments from people that have use the particular gadget, and a rating system let's say.

P.S. you could also have a section like top 10 most useless toys (gadgets)... and you could ask your visitors to vote and participate in determining the gadgets that are worth buying and the ones that are not worth buying at all.

 

I dont get the concept. It invokes a negative image.

 

You should always look at the point that domain name should promote positive message. Once you have such a domain name then you can do anything with it.

Try selling it on a domain auction site. If you're lucky, you'll get good money from it.

This raises a good point, always buy a domain when you have a good idea what you will do with it. I have recently dropping silly names I purchased a year ago that I realize I'm not interested in. These days I would just buy a good name that I really have a great idea what I plan to develop it into. The best things for domains like this is to either park them or build a blog and add some content & hope for the best.

 

well . . . just so everyone knows i have finally came up with the site . . . thanks to CLOUD 420 . . . here it is www.BoringToys.com/toy_review/ if anyone even cares . . . but just to have a conversation . . . by thinking "outside of the box" which is what happened when i heard some others ideas on what to do with the domain that i bought because i felt it was a good name and i could eventually find something to do with it . . . and with the help of others thinking outside the box i got to put a good idea with a good entrepreneurial investment. Although i have also let some go but those were mainly impulse buys rather than thinking it was a good domain.

 

use its negative factor, start a blog and find gadgets with some problems like macbook air having no optical device, iphone having no wifi etc etc and review them.
