Your going to need adobe photoshop for web design, dreamweaver for coding and you could probably download some e-books to guide you throughout the process. Theres tons of tutorials on web design as well so research a little bit and youre good.

You need to be more specific on the coding side, will you need CSS, XHTML or Ruby on Rails and PHP etc. I can tell you some good books if its CSS and XHTML.

if you have a bittorrent client you can download thousands of good ebooks, and you should probably look for ones regarding XHTML, CSS and PHP & MySQL; if you can learn those languages well then I'm sure you can make yourself a great site.

Apart from the sources as listed out by our friends above, dp too is full of resources. Select the topic you want to master and find the appropriate section and read the useful posts. If you have any doubt, post it in the concerned forum. You will get suitable reply. What is required : Patience to go through the threads and cleverness to choose the appropriate one. Good luck:)

Just start by reading a few eBooks and experiment. Choose what language you want to learn and research.

I agree in delegation, but if my standards are not being up held then I have to do something about it.

I guess the quote, In life you need a good banker, a good accountant, a good lawyer, and a good friend... should include a good webmaster! No joke.

    Thanks
