Dear DP members, i'v been reading hundreds of posts regarding sitemaps but none that reflect my problem, wich is very strange. I am sure that i am not the first case about this as it can happen to anyone. But my case it's pretty strange than others. Let me explain it...
In november, i bought an website with PR3. I changed fast only few external links and let it go, as i didn't had time at that momment for it. In time, i saw that traffic to the site is growing so i didn't want to modify anything to it. Starting with March, traffic from SE got doubled, in April got tripled without doing anything. I was curious how that happent so i made few checks and find out that i am getting more and more backlinks, prolly from people that liked my site. ( i used to buy some plugs and ads on other sites and seems that g00gl3 indexed the words from the images alt. On 6 May, surprise... my site went up to PR4. So i made time and started to clean up the site. At that momment, i had like 80 links with Linkex , and made an mass check on them, and surprise.. only few still had backlinks to my site, so i deleted them. At the bottom of the page, i found like 150 links to other sites ( guess that was added manually by the old owner and only 5!!!! had backlinks... so i removed them as well ). About the design, i didn't changed a lot, i kept the structure and added more content, text and images. After doing that, went to my g00gl3 webmaster acct. and using Tools, i added the sitemap ( was made using xml-sitemaps ) and submitted. ( before that i never added my sitemap to g00gl3 webmaster acct. ). In meantime, with every day my SE traffic was better and better, my site was ranked TOP 10 with more than 25 good words. Anything good till here.
But on 11 May, i found out that my site is not listed anymore, and after lot of checks i saw that only 1 word list my site in 2nd place, for the rest not even in first 1.000 ( here is the main problem that i don't understand - why my site still appear 2nd position with one keyword while all others are gone ). But i still get good positions from my subpages ( mostly PR1 ), wich actually are the only SE traffic sources. So, i went to my g00gle webmaster acct. and checked the site.. and found out there is an error on Sitemap screen... and was telling me that the urls from the sitemap i submitted are different from the site name ( when i added the site to my g00gl3 acct. i used http://site.com while the sitemap had all urls with http://www.site.com ). So i deleted the site name from my g00gl3 acct and readded with full url ( http://www.site.com ) and resubmitted the sitemap. After that, i made an 301 redirect so all visitors that go to http://site.com to be redirected to http://www.site.com. I even choosed the preferential Search results to be with http://www.site.com
So, i guess that's why g00gl3 removed my index from SE, but is strange that i still have good position with one word.
At that momment was like 6k pages that had links to my site and right now are 11.618 ( almost double ), as i builded more backlinks to my website.
If i check with g00gl3 using site:www.mysite.com, i find results for main index along with all subpages.... from my g00gl3 acct when i check top queries, i see there good top position of best keywords as they were before but if i check with g00gl3 search engine, none of them appears in search results, even when checked with many diff. g00gl3 datacenters.

Right now i still see this msg in my g00gl3 acct. :

Pages from your site are included in Google's index. See Index stats.
You have recently submitted one or more Sitemaps for this site. Processing Sitemaps may take some time. Check again later to see if pages from your Sitemaps are included in Google's index.

So i can't take any conclusion right now, why it takes so long or if things will get back to normal after the last submitted sitemap will be processed ( wich is strange as i already see all pages indexed already )

I even gave priority 1.0 to my main page and 0.5 to subpages and still nothing.

If any of you happen to had same problem please let me know how you solved or if it was solved.
Thanks a lot for your time into reading this and i hope that i will find here the help i need. Cheers.

I've heard that it takes 1 - 2 weeks for Google to re-index your site. I'm having some issues with mine as well. If I were you I would wait and see what happens with Google bot comes around again and then check the status.

If you haven't already sign up for Google Webmasters, it usually gives you tips on why your site is not indexed.

My friend, but my site is indexed, as long as when i use: "site:www.mysite.com" and it appear in results index+ all subpages... means that s indexed... the problem is that the index appears on search results only for one word wich is part of the domain name... for all other words that i was ranked before in top 5 ( over 30 words ) now it doesnt show up in first 1.000 search results. 2 weeks already since i fully restored my site at the time when it worked smoothly, g00gl3 bot still coming and visiting me but my index still doesnt show up in results except for one word that s part of the domain name. Any other ideeas? Anyone else please?
