I Need Your Help!! 40.000 Impressions And Only $10 A Day

ok to start my site gets about 30000 to 40000 ad sense impressions a day, but i am only making about $10 on a good day.what am i doing wrong??? i have made the ads match the look of the site, and have put them in the best spots on the page i can. my CTR is only 0.15 and my CPM is normally only 0.50 what can i do to fix my site

No offence but you should consider a redesign of that site, you will increase impressions as well as $$$

 

as the background red or the ads

 

play with the ad positioning. try puting an ad block on the top right under where it says recent videos. and also, the ad on the body with white background, make the background black and match the text color. all your link color is red but your adsense link color is green, thats a problem also

 

Have you tried chamging the background of the google ad from white to black to blend in with the site more?

 

i wish i could change that white add but i cant its a portal its not my add

Well you can't display two pubs on the same page, you're both going to get banned.

I mean that you can't have 2 Google AdSense accounts on one page, the ad that isn't yours is someone else's which means that you are displaying more then one adsense account ad on the same page.

 

so is that why my cpm is so low?.. thanks for telling me this, i will look into it and see what i can do to fix it

 

you're correct about your CPM. Because you don't know how many clicks that other adsense unit is getting because it is not yours.

I recommend taking your adsense off the page though or getting that other person's ad off the page because it is against the TOS.

 

The site is design is a little abrasive. I would consider switching it to a lighter color. Also try relocating some of the ads to the top of the page. I feel like the adsense ads at the tops of pages get more clicks.

 

OMG that site is really ugly, sorry man....looks like it was made in the 90's

 

Also video sites don't generally pay well.
