Greetings to everyone in this forum, I own a forum https://pearstep.com but I have been having issues in getting members and visitors, I even had to make a promo but still not getting any. Please I need your support and advice on how to run and get members to the forum. Thank you
Ok My forum is all about php scripts, WordPress themes and plugins, blogger themes and also about blogging tutorials........as for the scripts and themes they are premium but I made them free on my forum Here is the details
Here is the problem, your forum would appeal to a very small group of people. John Q. Public is not even going to check it out. Bottom line is that you will have to be very patient as this thing will grow veeeeeeeery slowly, if at all. I won't bother to check it out and give you a review, as this type of forum wouldn't interest me. But seeing as a mod has moved this thread to Reviews forum, I'm sure someone will. Good luck to you in any event.
This has to be the most uninspiring forum post ever. No thumbnails of the attachments - no way of knowing what I'm clicking through to. No text to explain why I'd be interested in using the script or why you feel it's worth adding to your forum. Directories are dying, you know that right? And your forum isn't a forum, it's an unstructured directory. Lets say I was looking for a support chat script - I would just google and see what comes up. I wouldn't come to your site to see what you recommend because I have no idea (based on this example) if you are recommending it or just letting me know that it exists. Google's SERPs at least give me some idea about the quality of the site they're showing me. here you do give info but it looks to me like a scrape from the original site rather than a considered review and recommendation On the home page the tags let users know what they're looking at but there's guide about what the different coloured Ls stand for. oh and finally, wtf is the Real Madrid item doing in there?

You can't. Spend your time and energy on something that will yield results. I am surprised that this day and age webmasters are still launching forums.
