I need you to review my website speed

    I've moved my new website to another host and I need you to check its speed. I am expecting something average. I want to know if it is slow so that I can try to fix it.
    Rate it from 1 to 10. Also I would be grateful if you could tell me what internet connectivity you have as well.

    I'd say 7. Has a good start, then slows down to load the videos. It average I'd say.... Not bad!

    Took about 6 or 7 seconds to fully load, had a blank page for at least a couple of seconds. Not too good.

    You may also want to check tools.pingdom.com/?url=http://videovici.com/&treeview=0&column=objectID&order=1&type=0&save=true

    Things you could do is combine CSS/JS files, compress your jpgs further. Have them in different subdomains: assets1.videovici.com, assets2.videovici.com (this allows the browser to do more simultaneous requests at the same time)

    Thanx once more for reply. I have only 320 MB ram, 300 GB bandwidth. The low speed is maybe understandable. I will upgrade soon. I was afraid that it may take 20+ sec to load.

    My website is slower than when I was on a shared hosting plan. My download rate is 65 -100 kb/sec. I have to move to another host.

    Ya takes a bit to load, around 5 seconds here. Are you on a dedi? Consider looking at fdc they got pretty good bandwidth for video sites.
