I need YOU to help de-clutter my site's top third (layout & navigation) for $50

I have no webdesign skills whatsoever and now it's really starting to show and it looks ugly.

I need a new overall header designing, one which will still adopt the existing colour scheme and the existing logo, but I need the text navigation sorting out and all of the imagery (possibly placing into text nav aswell). The overall header will need to accomodate an image-repeat accross so it just looks groovey and then all other imagery could be placed on top of that (possibly)

    Everything needs de-cluttering...

The new look obviously needs to show correctly for common browsers (i.e IE and FireFox) and should also display correctly from screen rez 800x600 upwards.

I need to see some examples live please :)

Click www.acapellas4u.co.uk to see the mess I need you to sort out..

p.s If none of that is clear at all then sorry but I'm hungover to sh*t - I welcome any live chat ;)

p.ps you will need to regsiter to see additional 'members only' extras aswell.

p.pps this is genuine work that needs doing like yesterday.

p.ppps $50 is negotiable and will be paid via PayPal. I have been known to be a generous TIPPER in the past ;)

bikerjeg, that was a very quick entry!

My new header needs to adopt a style similar to the one seen here, by that I do need an image repeat which stretches horizontally across the entire width of the browser.

The djcity.com and myspace logos will need to stay but I'm actually wanting to actually replace the acapellas4u trackitdown mp3 shop and the testimonial to a text link.

The navigation menu will need to be easily changeable by myself to enable me to edit it myself to edit new navigation options as and when.

    Regards,

    Rich

Good point, and one that I didn't mention.

Before I created this topic I was thinking that the job entailed actually implementing the new look onto the site aswell (as in doing the coding).

IF I had to then I'm sure that I'd be able to have a go at that side of things so long as you were willing to splice the .psd.

Ok, so we didn't receive much interest so here's an idea/theme that I had a go at myself with a forum friend.

What we need though now is for all of the heavy JavaScript menu navigation code converting into a much lighter CSS menu navigation and some other things beside.

Any interest out there, basically we just need a webdesigner and we've got good PayPal Balance ;)

    Really appreciate some feedback.

    Regards,

    Rich.

Design4U, I like what you have done with the 'Testimonial' part of the header - it would be good to have a section like this in our new header to be on a rotating script as we have lots of nice friends and to able to cycle through thoise would be cool, everyone get's bored with just one.

I did point out above though that we need a new (uncluttered) design to totally take into consideration a CSS version of what you see here - http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/dev/index3.html, The menu navigation is probably more important than the actual look at this stage. The reasons being that we are trying to get MORE members involved with the actual message boards, and I think at present it just needs making a whole load more 'user-friendly'.
