    But is strongly suggest you to put 40$ for a premium theme, If you cant afford this ...

    The wp default theme is a joy to work with.
    Try one and see.
    And the footer link to wp itself can be deleted.

    You can remove the footer link in wordpress default themes.
    EG: twenty ten, twenty eleven, twenty twelve.

    Go to footer.php in the theme, and remove just the link code.

    You have to look for Free GPL Wordpress themes.. Most free wordpress themes are under Common Creative License.. they give the work which you can modify and adapt in order to suit your needs but they ask to leave a Author's Link...

    You can check the Official wordpress themes with key word : free for commercial use : Link
