I need Word Press Help Down Loading A WP theme

    I down Loaded a wp theme on my desk top I then uploaded to my server in the ftp client"" a dragged the theme over to my blogs theme list in ftp" when I looked for it inside my list of themes in the word press blog it was not their"""

    can someone help me here??? kudos given:rolleyes:

    I think you must not extract the theme carefully.
    The problem must be got another folder inside the your new theme folder

    actually I uploaded to that blogs theme folder and it is not listing as uploaded meaning it is not their???

    When you extract a zip file sometimes the themes folder is two folders deep. Meaning the theme is in a folder within the first folder. In your ftp client or file manager, open the themes folder and if you see another folder with the same name that is the problem.

    Thanks for posting all I figured out the problem " the theme was defaulting so I fixed that " my host gave me the correct intro"
