My wife and I usually take a three to four week vacation in June/July. The last few years we've been to Europe three times, Mexico, Grand Cayman and then last summer we went to Thailand and Cambodia. We're having trouble deciding where to go this summer. Does anyone have any good suggestions for me? We like going places to relax AND to also do some outdoor activities. Thanks!
I went to Jamiaca for my honeymoon and loved it. Dont know what your budget is but for about $3000 you can get a 1 week stay at a Sandals resort (all inclusive) and there are tons of out doorsy stuff to do. Any type of outdoor activity you can think of you can do it there but will cost extra. All in all me and wife loved it and would go back. Opps just read you are taking 3-4 weeks. So I dont think my suggestion would help but I am too lazy to delete it. But by the time I type I am too lazy to delete it and this sentance I could have deleted it. So I guess I am not lazy.
I was in Jamaica for a few days and it is very nice...from what I can remember. Good idea! I've received a check for one million dollars. I will send it to you and you can keep $950,000. And then all you have to do is send the remaining $50,000 to my account. Deal, SVZ?
Depends whether your seeking the a really hot climate or not but.. I would recommend Perthshire in Scotland, superb landscape, I rented a wooden cabin beside a loch a couple of years ago, the cabin had all mod cons so you dont have to slum it and with mountains/lochs on the doorstep it offers plenty of active pursuits as well as local villages to check out and chill. Good hospitality as well, from what I can remember
New Zealand/Australia is a good 3-4 week trip. Tahiti or Hawaii is good, but after about 10 days you start to run out of things to do.
how about japan? there are some beautiful natural settings, and if you go into the city you're close to the hub of technologeee
Oops! We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon a few years ago. I'd love to go back- best waves ever!!!! I definitely want to go to New Zealand and Austrailia but I think I'd rather go during their Summer months. And that wont be possible until my wife stops teaching. Tahiti (French polynesia) is a possibility...have you bee there?
No... but that's the next place I'm going when I have someone to go with. Or... I'll just tag along with you guys. haha
Could do an african safari. That always sounds like fun. Watching the world's strongest man sometimes, they show victoria falls and all that. Looks awesome.
You're more than welcomed to...but you're paying your own way. Oh, and I will not be rubbing sun tan lotion on you...often.
my favorite place I've been to is Victoria, BC Canada, its so beautiful, the harbor is breathtaking, and everyone is so nice there. if you're into scenery, its definently a great place to go...and its close to Vancouver
