Ok, so I go everywhere that I can trying to build back links so I can show up in the SERP'S, but I am not getting any traffic, AT ALL. I will continue to build back links, but I need resources to quality traffic to my site so I can start paying my bills and buy some food. Oh how I am so hungry. I wont pay for visitors, I have already done that and it was a complete waste of money. I would do ppc but cant afford it right now. Any ideas before I sell my kidney to the black market?

I'm not sure that submitting to directories is very useful... Social bookmarking could be a little better though.
We all need traffic. I am afraid selling your kidneys won't be enough. You need to work and be persistent. Go to the Buy/Sell/Trade section and buy ads on other websites. Buy text links also. Write press releases and articles, and submit them to article directories. Join forums that discuss the topic of your website and add your signature to your posts.
Lots of traffic quick is easy, but its a lot of work for that traffic and isn't sustainable (as Nyceane points out).

Be careful of buying lots of traffic - most of it is junk (non-targeted, bots, etc) and it will never convert. Sadly, the only way to get quality massive traffic is to advertise aggre$$ively and/or have some patience. It takes time.
I am writing articles and submitting to sites, directory submissions with my url, blog comments, forum comments, and a couple of failed attempts at video marketing on yahoo, google, youtube and metacafe. I would like to see my site make (minimum) 20 conversions per day (my site is for bad credit auto loans), but my goal is to see 40 conversions a day.

i think you should focus advertising efforts on pages that have high Pagerank by google, Low alexa traffic rank, high inbound link count, and a popular blog buzz rating. Try any real-time statistical search engine RTSSE and submit to blogs and link building websites for starters.... there's one out there at rankdatabase.com ;-)
You’re in a tight situation, I say learn but in the main time article marketing ftw! It really works if you focus on it you can convert pretty well, is like having your own instant high ranking pagerank site if you treat it that way. You can make a lot e.g. in the range of hundreds per day if you focus on article marketing. Best of all… it’s free!

How good of a quality is your content? I feel like so many people these days are just writing crap and resposting other people's content. It's ridiculous. If you can solve TOUGH problems for people, the word will quickly get out and you will be amazed. Take a look at other sites in your niche. What can you do better than them? What problems don't they see/are they ignoring? How can you solve those?
This very insightful and kind of a reality check. We get sooooo busy trying to create backlinks, get traffic, write articles, get more traffic that we forget the #1 reason in owning a website. THE VISITORS. What do they want, what do they need? If we cant provide the solution, then they go to where they will find an answer. I do feel that my site is understanding enough of my targets problem, and I certainly offer a service that addresses and corrects that problem. MY PROBLEM is that I am not getting any traffic at all. You're in a tough niche. I'm not sure about the terminology here, but I would suspect google has you sandboxed because it considers that a spam niche... I'm no SEO expert, but according to what I've read, your site is o.k. on that front. A quick check with the FF rank checker plugin shows you unranked for your title keywords - which supports my sandbox theory. Is there any way you could put a regional or demographic spin on your targeted keywords? Other than buying PPC advertising, which you said isn't an option you're just going to have to slog through the sandbox and it's probably gonna be tough in the niche you chose. Good Luck
