I have an nautical chart plotting site that a sell one unique product on and I need help getting traffic to my site. I have been using google and yahoo for advertisement and I keep breaking about even in the end. Its almost not even worth it. I know people will buy the product I just need to know how to get it out there more without having to pay for it. Is there something I can be doing to get more traffic? Would I be better off just paying someone to get me targeted traffic instead of paying google and yahoo? The site is www.diginav.us

If you need traffic to your site then you go to various search engine and get your site more effective in these search enginges. If you site more populer in various search engine then you get benefit also.

Since there seem to be forums on everything, have you searched for forums on sailing, boating, marine, etc and become a member. Posting there with your link in your signature is a good way to get interested visitors
Try to get links from related niches and find out the important keyword in your niche and try to optimize your site for that keyword. You will get more targeted traffic from search engines which can be easily monetized. Traffic from social bookmarking etc. are just crap and will in no way help you make money.
