i need traffic help

i am sick of putting a site together and working my ass off for traffic and not getting any .. makes it worse when you see people posting sites which are under a month old with 1000's of unique visits every day from day 1

So ..

I am looking for valid ways of getting good traffic quickly without too much work, to a phpnuke site with adsense on board

For every good way of getting traffic i receive I will try it and if it works I will find some way of repaying, whether its a link, banner or maybe even a share of the cash made.

I would seriously question the person who says he got 1000's unique visitors the first day. Unless you have some scam site, it is just not feasible. To build traffic you have to work hard and for me also getting traffic is a big pain but eventually there is a slow improvement. It takes time and patience, so don't give up.

 

which site do you mean? maybe i can help?

 

1000's uniques the first day can only be done with a budget more the $1 I think

all of which i am looking at finding traffic for .. plus i will then learn for the future so i can promote some of my other (not so mainstream) sites better

 

I think your sites are too common and poor in content, to get big traffic you need original ideas

 

as i say i have some not so mainstream which have plenty of content but for a mature audience

 

I think it's all about targeting the right markets. to be honest the games and tunes need to be aimed at students/teens...what have you tried so far? the other breast feeding site lacks content. maybe articles, get doctor to submit info, advertise at pre-natal classes etc...

 

Your sites are not loading for me. So, there isn't anything I can say about content and accessibility or duplicate content.

Before we get into what can be done..I jsut wanna ask..what have you done so far? and if you do not want to disclose it here you can PM me.

You have no links. I did not analyze all your sites but tctones.com has 2 links one from pennyhits.co.uk and another from a banned/cancelled myspace account.

It's gonna take some time unless you ae doing black hat stuff. It will take time to build links in turn traffic.

 

Rule # -1: Never ever ever get frustrated with your site due to lack of traffic. Getting angry does absolutely nothing to help, correct? That's just one tip i've picked up in my 2 years of experience. Be optimistic. You'll find answers quickly... this is the internet brotha

I know that doens't directly help for your situation, but it will mentally... which is just as important (well, to some people).
