hello, i wanna buy new vostro 1320 laptop from dell.com,but dell.com doesn't shit to any country more than the usa . so i was trying in the last weak to ask the shipping companies like fedex,ups,.. they told me about there are some stupid taxes on the shipping for the laptops to Egypt, and i have to pay like 200 % shipping taxes. that means if the laptop cost 1000$ , then i gonna pay taxes 2000$ and it will be the laptop price 3000$ . ofcourse that is boshit , beside i have only the laptop price the 1k , i need it for my study and i don't know what i have to do so any body knows any one gonna visit Egypt soon , can bring it with him to me and i gonna pay him the laptop cost ?? or any body have any other suggestions please ????
not yet , i didnt make the order yet because they told me on the online support ,they doen't ship to any country more than the usa
Dell ships to lots of countries. They ship here in Malaysia, for example. I'm sure they ship to UAE; you can get there and back for US$200 or less on AirArabia. Give yourself a holiday and come back with a laptop.
i wanna make special order to customize the performance , that is available in the main dell site in usa and the shipping to usa only any suggestion please ?
You sure they take 200% ? So if anyone wants to ship from usa to egypt it will cost him 200% the original price by fedex or ups!!
yes , the stupid people in the gov here made the taxes like that 150% - 200% , i guess they don't like us to got new tech !!!! beside when i was asking to buy it from the inside here , they told me about it gonna cost like 2800$ and the ex model too , not the new one which i need
Hi, you really don't have to buy from DELL there are millions of other companies offering cheap laptops ... Hey i found a website its an Egypt shop selling laptops egyptlaptop (dot) com replace the dot to . Kind Regards.
don't buy the dell. Your warranty will be in the US. In the event you have a problem you will have to ship it there....on your own expense. Buy a laptop from your country. Dell isn't the only company out there. HP has excellent hardware and support, ACER laptops are also good (had one for 5 years with no problems) and ASUS are ok I guess (just buyed a new last month)
get from a local store.. im pretty sure you'll find one locally.. and have support handled even easier.. atleast you can hit their face when after sales is horrible, which is the case most of the time..
