I am refering to his site, and not all sites in general.

And by referring to the term "cpm" I do not mean cpm ads. I mean this is the average weight of the money he would be making on a cost per click basis with google adsense. This is the average income he will have on 1k unique visits on his homepage.

 

I didn't do a newsletter. But I did advertise on my myspace account when it had 8,000 friends (versus 23,000 today). I advertised April 27th - April 30th and have not advertised since. I sent it out a bulletin daily those days. Except for the 28th I didn't send out a bulletin because I was busy that day.

The traffic has built upon itself since then. I do not advertise it any longer, and have not done so for a long time.

It takes 2 minutes in adsense to make a channel and pick a colour close to your sites colour its really not that hard...

I guess I never got around to messing with adsense with this site too much since I don't earn much revenue off my other sites that have adsense.
