Hi I have this template http://www.dreamtemplate.com/templates/Clean_and_Corporate/detail/2942.html And i have to get it working with Wordpress Any ideas. I have never had to make my own wordpress template.. Im building a simply WP site for my friend and this is the only template he likes, he likes the colors, layout and logo. Any suggestions?
You can't just make a template work with wordpress, it has to be coded for wordpress specifically. There are 1000's of wordpress templates out there, both free and paid...my suggestion...find one that closely resembles it, and change the colors, and dimensions to your liking, or hire someone to code you a template that looks like that.
That what i thought. I directed him to close to 10 WP template sites paid and free, but then they went on a search for templates. I'll find a WP template thats close and change the colors. thanks.
Lol... thats a cheeky thing, and way too much work... there are so many good paid themes out there, you should search a bit more and I am sure you will find the perfect theme.
ya it looks like i have two options. Pay someone to make the template work with wordpress or find a similar wordpress template and change the colors.
