Hello, I just purchased the on line forum X Marks the Scot which is the world's largest and most active forum on the subject of Kilts. I am not a programmer/developer. I make Kilts. So I am totally lost when it comes to programming. But I need to make some changes to my site. Just before I purchased the site someone made some changes that I believe are causing some conflicts. I need someone to look through the site and see if there are bugs and correct them. I also need to re-arrange my advertising space. I would need some help setting up the graphics on the pages. If any one would be willing to take on the job of Admin for this site please contact me via PM or email. The only real requirement I need in an admin is good communication skills. I need to develop a relationship and trust with my admin and need to be able to talk to my admin when I have questions. yes, this is a paid position.

If you do not know vBulletin I cannot use you. Please be prepared to give examples of your level of experience with vBulletin. I also need someone very comfortable with PHP and MySQL. As vBulletin forums are run with PHP and MySQL you must be able to work with these languages. Please be prepared to give examples of your experience with these languages. As I am very protective of this site I am unwilling to hand over the passwords to just anybody. America or the UK the language difficulties will probably mean that we will not be able to communicate efficiently and I cannot use you if I cannot talk to you regularly. I also need someone who is willing to do the work in such a way that I will be able to take care over the day-to-day administration of the site myself. This may mean you will need to teach me how to do this. The first part of the job is to perform the newest updates to the vBulletin software. The second is to look over the entire site looking for conflicts and unused templates as a prior person made some stupid changes. The third is some graphics work. I need a three level advertising plan. One with large company logos. One with small company logos. And one with text ads. These are basically graphics with embedded HTML links to the company websites and nothing more as all payments are handled via PayPal. But all three levels of ads must be on each page of the site. So some template work will need to be done. As I am willing to pay for this work on either an hourly basis or by contract I am going to be very cautious about spammers and those who are not capable of working with vBulletin, PHP, MySQL, or who is not willing to speak to me directly.
