As some of you know Yahoo Domains is jacking up prices from $9.99 to $34.99 per year, so I have to find a new registrar. I know this question has been asked to death, and I have looked over some threads, but I am looking for something specific. What I liked about Yahoo is that they kept your credit card on file and automatically rebilled your domains until you cancelled it. This made sure that I never forgot to re-up an important domain, so I'm looking for a registrar with a similar setup. Someone who won't let my domains expire, someone who won't jack up the price, and someone who will get my domains transfered from yahoo. I know that some of you might say that all you have to do is renew when they send you a reminder, but I just don't want to risk losing a domain and would rather have things renew automatically. Thanks in advance.
Name.com , namecheap.com, godaddy.com or least go for dynadot. They are best alternatives as far as im concerned about domains Registrars.
http://www.Dynadot.com is very good, excellent customer service and a very good control panel which will allow you to do everything that you need. Many others in the domaining industry love http://www.Moniker.com - costs a bit more but extremely secure.
Never work with Yahoo for domains. Because it's not Yahoo's job. You should work with domain companies for your domains. Here's my list: 1 - Moniker 2 - Namecheap 3 - Name 4 - Dynadot 5 - Godaddy
I would say name.com is the best domain registrar, as there are very rarely any problems, and when there are they have an excellent customer service team to help out. All the domain options are really clear and easy to use. Godaddy is also alright, but have a nasty tendancy of going wrong, and you need a credit card to pay.
I would suggest using Enom or ResellerClub if you planning on Reselling domains..otherwise opt in for Name.com or Dynadot
I also second godaddy, enom is nice but they don't allow you to renew your domain name on the early basis if its expired and you have no funds in your account
Most of my experience is with GoDaddy, so I can't really say they're better than any of the others mentioned here. Just a comment about needing a credit to pay at GoDaddy: they have alternatives if you don't have a credit card; I personally use their "gift card" option quite regularly (someone with a credit card just have to send you a gift card), as well as a "Good As Gold" option where you fund your GD account with cash and then use your credit on account to pay for domains, hosting and any other product they have.
Godaddy is best for u , they also supporting automatic payment and if any problem of card issue they will keep mailing before 1 months to expire the domain
I have used namecheap.com for years and years. Highly recommended. I've never had issues with them. They allow payment through paypal. A plus for me.
