is there a way to get new users by writing original content in my forum? i already exploited too much of my spam section, and all the section related to hobbies, and everything non related to my forum... i just don't know how to bring new visitors into my forum and make them discuss more... any articles ideas?

Here are some random ideas: 1. Seed your forum with interesting threads. Do it yourself or pay someone to do it for you. Many forum visitors would look to see what's cooking before they use your forums. So if they are faced with a page full of 0 threads, they will just pass. 2. Add shop mod to your forum. Forum users can exchange posting points for fun items. What board are you using? I think I have seen a shop mod for SMF. No ideas about other boards. 3. Talk to some companies to give your users interesting offers in exchange for reviews. You can even make review writing a contest with prizes from the company offering the prizes. Hope that is useful.
