I've been getting comments that my site (math20.com) is plain. What could I do to make it better? Please be specific!

Also, could someone recommend free software for hosting the blog on my site?

Well, i'm going to be honest... It's very plain.... I can see why you've been getting those critics.. I can understand if you want it to be basic and simple, but I feel like I would be paying some kid to do my math homework..

Also, I don't really understand what your selling... Sovling a math problem.. It takes longer to enter in all the payment information then it would to solve the problem myself...

Maybe possibly, changing it to a resourses site.. for math... have articles and sample problems.. teach people what they need to know..

You say it's plain but how do I make it not so plain? That is really the information I want. Also, about the time issue, It's currently free so you don't have to type in payment information and for higher levels of mathematics it would be much faster to send your problems via email especially for the average anti-mathematics student.

    1. As mentioned above give some examples so people know you can actually do math.

    2. Do you really have a STAFF or is it you just? Give some information about yourself. Why should they give YOU their math problems? What experience do you have at math that makes you an expert?

    3. Create some graphics with a variety of numbers and equations. Give it a MATH feeling / atmosphere.

    4. Are you trying to target college students? Perhaps, a membership site that is cheap they could join and post all of their questions.

    5. Give them a guarantee. If they are on their cell phone during the final exam can you get them the answer NOW? How soon can they get their answers? (note: This example is only hypothetical. I'm not a college student, nor would I cheat.)
